Certainly one of my favourite studies ever is ‘Heads or Tails: The effect of the Coin Toss on Major lifetime choices and Subsequent Happiness’ by economist Steven Levitt of ‘Freakonomics’.

Levitt obtained tens and thousands of individuals who had been profoundly not sure whether or not to create a change that is big their life. Those who remained truly undecided were given the chance to use a flip of a coin to settle the issue after offering some advice on how to make hard choices. 22,500 did therefore. (más…)
